Lingdale Golf Club hosted our second Festival Week competition on Thursday 26th August with a Seniors AmAm competition taking place. There were twenty one teams entered into the competition on what was a warm but overcast day.
The prize winners of the competition were:
1st Place – Phil Stubbs, Bryan Dennis, Rudi Dalman & Jeff Humphries – 83points l/r
2nd Place – Chris Bradley, Glenn Barnes, Andy Docherty & John Pritchard – 83points l/r
3rd Place – Robert Kershaw, Gareth Leyshon, K Bradford & Chris Jenkins – 83points l/r
4th Place – Allan Tubb, Paul Bartram, Les Hopewell & Ian Storer – 82points

Lingdale hosted its annual Mixed Over 55's Open on Thursday 10th June. The temperatures on the day were slightly cooler than in recent days but scoring was competivie.
The prizes winners on the day were:
1st Place - John Rossiter, Sue Rossiter, Richard Malyon & Di de Middelaer (All Lingdale) - 84points
2nd Place - Kev Pallett, Sue Pallett, Glynn Bramley & Lynda Bramley (Lingdale & Beedles Lake) - 80points
3rd Place - Paul Bartram, Gill Bartram, Gill Tubb & Alan Tubb (All Rushcliffe) - 75points
4th Place - Peter Loram, Glenda Loram, Carol Bancroft & Leslie Bancroft (All Maxstoke Park) - 74points l/r

Lingdale hosted its annual Gents Open on Saturday 5th June.
Despite the fine weather scoring still proved difficult for the majority of the field.

On Thursday 27th May we hosted our first Seniors AmAm Open.
Due to the ongoing restrictions the event was changed from a shotgun start to a two tee start with a one course meal served to all players following the round. The weather conditions were much kinder than they had been in recent days with some very good golf and scoring on display.

4th Place - Michael Remington, Steve Hemmings, Jim Reece & Marvin Cook (Glen Gorse & Hinckley) - 81points
