On Wednesday 6th November the annual Ladies Winter Open was held at Lingdale Golf Club. The sun shone on the competitors in the morning before going slightly overcast but fortunately considering the recent weather the rain did stay away. The prizes winners from the day were:
1st - Karen Bland and Paula McCourt (Beedles Lake) Sarah Bush and Val Sassall (Leamington Spa) - 77 points
On Sunday 20th October the annual End of Season competition took place. Following the recent poor weather the sunshine did make an appearance with a full field of twenty four teams enjoying the course with scoring being very good.
The results of the competition were:
1st Place - Will Jones, Ricard Baker, Gary McMahon & Darren Whiteford (Eaton, Worsley & Llanmyech) - 90points
2nd Place - Matt Armston, Sean Cayless, Russ Hickling & Paul Neeson (Lingdale) - 88points
3rd Place - Russ Davis, Ralph Mason, Craig Histead & Darren Reynolds (Burton On Trent) - 87points

Lingdale's annual Festival Week was brought to a close with the Mixed AmAm which took place on Sunday 1st September. In windy conditions scoring proved difficult however there were still a number of rounds which beat par. The prize winners were:
1st Place - Paul Bartram, Lynee Bartram, Allan Tubb & Gill Tubb (All Rushcliffe) - 80points
2nd Place -Joe Whibley, Anne Whibley, Mandy North & John Pritchard (All Lingdale) - 79points
3rd Place - Paul Bennett, Paula Bennett, Waji Hassan & Sharon Scott (All Lingdale) - 77points
