On Wednesday 3rd November, we hosted our final Open event of the season with the Ladies Winter Open taking place.
There were twenty four different clubs reprsented within a field of eighty competitors. The day began overcast and with some light drizzle but did clear which allowed for some good scores on the day.
The prizes winners were:
1st Place - Sue Barkes, Ruth Palmer, Chris O’Neil & Julia Dunkley - All Kibworth Golf Club - 80points
2nd Place - Nicola Wheeler, Christine Power, Joanne Scrivens & Lucy Pover - Rothley Park & The Leicestershire - 78points l/c
3rd Place - Trudie Hanson, Carol Alford, Kay Marshall & Rachel Emma Alford - All from Branston - 78points
4th Place - Sue Pallett, Lynda Bramley, Caroline Butcher & Kim Griffin - Lingdale, Beedles Lake, Rutland Water & Beedles Lake - 75points l/r
5th Place - Eileen Manhire, Yvonne Brook, Felicity Britton & Caroline West - All Beeston Fields - 75points
