On Wednesday 24th August we commenced our annual Festival Week with a Texas Scramble.
The competition was well supported with thirty six teams entering and despite the odd shower the rain stayed away for the duration of the day.
The results from the competition were:
1st Place - Peter Sandford, Kaye Sandford, Jayne Vallance & Stewart Richardson (All Lingdale) - 51.35
2nd Place - Darrell Stoten, Neil Armson, Jonathan Sankey & Brendan Carr (Kirby Muxloe, Hinckley & Charnwood Forest) - 52.7
3rd Place - Matthew Westcott, Ben Westcott, Andy Nodder & Tom Davies (All Oswestry) - 53.95
4th Place - Andrew Pearson, Paul Binley, Mike Martindale & Bob Gilliver (All Lingdale) - 54.4
