On Friday our Festival Week Ladies AmAm took place.
Unfortunately, despite a fine start to the day, we experienced a thunder and lightning delay at approximately 3pm which saw play delayed for almost an hour.
This did see a number of the competitors decide to finish and head home but those who carried on enjoyed some fine golfing weather for the remainder of their round.
The prize winners were:
1st Prize – Lynne Woolley, Carol Alford, Juliet Darby & Stella Smith (All Branston) – 89points
2nd Prize – Karen Docherty, Sue Maine, Annie Martin & Kym Griffin (Lingdale, Longcliffe & Charnwood) – 82points
3rd Prize – Tracey Harvey, Louise Bridle-Harvey, Denis Congrave & Julie Jennings (All Hinckley) – 78points
4th Prize - Teresa Cruickshank, Denise Aitchinson, Debbie Pendlebury & Elaine Loydall (All Staverton Park) – 75points
5th Prize – Anna Clay, Sally Neiger, Fiona Hall & Miwako Ito (Lingdale & Breadsall Priory) – 73points
6th Prize – Lorraine Charles, Sue Hargraves, Jill Woodford & Sheila Plant (Lingdale & Scraptoft) – 73points
