Lingdale Golf Club hosted our annual Festival Week Ladies AmAm competition on Friday 26th August. The weather conditions throughout the day made scoring difficult with light showers throughout the morning followed by heavier showers in the afternoon and concluding with persistent rain which the final few groups finished in.
The prize winners of the competition were:
1st Place - Jannette Pallas, Sharon Scottorn, Christine Miller & Susan Toplis (All Forest Hill) - 75points
2nd Place - Kathy Jex, Chris Geschke, Tina Collins & Jenny Piecha (Lingdale & Rothley Park) - 75points
3rd Place - Kathryn Hoyland, Lorraine Wells, Carmel Quinn-Jarvis & Helen Lowe (All Scraptoft) - 73points
4th Place - Virginia Whitehead, Pauline Soar, Jane Smeeton & Helen Bone (All Ruddington Grange) - 73points
5th Place - Jackie Wilson, Carole Stothard, Wendy Stewart & Liz Moses (Belton Park & Belton Woods) - 70points
6th Place - Rhoda Andrews, Bev Griffiths, Mary Lund & Jackie Hathway (Lingdale & Stanton) - 69points
