On Saturday 9th September Lingdale Golf Club hosted two special 50th Anniversary Shotgun AmAm competitions with a morning event and an afternoon event. Despite the horrendous weather forecast in the build up to the event the competitors got lucky with only a couple of showers during the day.
The results from the competition were:
Morning Shotgun Competition
1st Prize – Andy Dillow, Tony Bolstridge, Oli Clarke & Dale Moseley – 86points
2nd Prize -Dave Johnson, Kev Pallett, Neil Goldsworthy & Sue Pallett – 85points
3rd Prize – Dave Patton, Clive Patrick, Graham Adani & Roy Unwin – 84points
4th Prize – Mick Quilter, Jamie Freakley, Pete McGorum & G Quilter – 84points l/r
Afternoon Shotgun Competition
1st Prize – Ben Ashurst, James Hoult, Scott Middleton & Ken Marshall – 90points
2nd Prize – Keith Fairlie, Mike Calow, Sue Holwell & Rob Clarke – 89points
3rd Prize – Bob Cliff, Martin Taylor, Jason Cliffe & A Boyes – 86points
4th Prize – Pete Charles, Malcolm Hayes, Lorraine Charles & Stewart Richardson – 85points
We also two special Nearest The Pins prizes sponsored by Mercedes Benz with the winner receiving a Mercedes for the weekend. The winners of this were:
