Friday 3rd September saw the celebration of Peter Sellears' 25 years at Lingdale. Many members turned up to play in the Singles Stableford Roll Up before the formalities began. Golfers returned to the Clubhouse for food laid on by Philip our Caterer and then settled down to brief but highly entertaining speeches, firstly from Keith Hodkinson and then from Pete himself. He was presented with two specially engraved cut glass wine glasses, several bottles of his favourite tipple (red wine) and a cheque to treat himself as a mark of appreciation from the members of Lingdale. What a wonderful achievement - here's to the next 25 Pete!!
